PokerSharks 6 max NLHE tourney, top 2 paid 65/35

Prior to hand 1, Maniac has doubled through twice all-in pre-flop with 99. Otherwise, he's showing silly amounts of aggression on random hands. The Zookeeper must be proud.

Hand 1

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t30 (4 handed) converter

Fnord (t1545)
Button (t2245)
SB (Maniac) (t3600)
BB (t1610)

Preflop: Fnord is UTG with Q, J.
Fnord raises to t80, Button folds, SB (Maniac) raises to t240, BB folds, Fnord calls t160.

Flop: (t510) 7, 5, Q (2 players)
Maniac bets t3360 (All-In), Fnord calls t1305 (All-In).

Hand 2

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t100 (3 handed) converter

Fnord (t2905)
BB (Maniac) (t4015)
Button (t2080)

Preflop: Fnord is SB with T, T.
Button folds, Fnord completes, BB (Maniac) raises to t300, Fnord raises to t2955, BB (Maniac) calls t2605.

Hand 3

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t100 (3 handed) converter

Fnord (t5810)
SB (Maniac) (t2270)
BB (t920)

Preflop: Fnord is Button with T, K.
Fnord raises to t275, SB (Maniac) raises to t2320, BB folds, Fnord folds.

Hand 4

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t100 (3 handed) converter

Fnord (t5115)
BB (Maniac) (t3045)
Button (t840)

Preflop: Fnord is SB with T, K.
Button folds, Fnord completes, BB (Maniac) thinks.... checks.

Flop: (t200) 4, T, 7 (2 players)
Fnord checks, Maniac bets t300, Fnord raises to t5015, Maniac calls t2645 (All-In).

Seems pretty standard to me. Schooling the maniac when you get good (not great) cards.

I'd love to have the knowledge (as you did) of what kind of hands he was playing.

This is a 6 max tourney?
I don't know what they have to say
It makes no difference anyway.
Whatever it is...
I'm against it.

well, because of the fold and the lack of aggresion on the pre-flop, one may assume that he has a high pair...oh I bet he did.
The "All In" Play works everytime, but once.

"because of the fold"? Im losing my mind...sorry for that. I meant because of the amount of time he thought about it....he had been aggressive before pre-flop in other hands...so...I would say he has a large pair or maybe AK...

given your take on the maniac, good play on your part.

even he wasn't a maniac, KT suited is still fairly strong down to 3 players, and you do have chip advantage.
i hate what i have become to escape what i hated being...

^ agree on K10s, with that flop I'm probably pushing too. If the guy has A10... shrug. Besides I folded K10 today (6 handed, not three) to a 2xBB bet, ended up I would have made two pair on the flop and tripled up against KQ and some random hand.

I play each one the same (well I hope I would). On the last hand I wouldn't have pushed all on through, I would have tried to milk it a little...
Poker is all about the long long long long long long long term . . .
Barney's back . . . back again . . .

Between such a high chance of JQ or A falling on the turn, bubble and his poor decision skills I figured I'd keep it simple with the all-in check/raise.
