Got dealt pocket aces first hand off SNG raised 4 times the BB PF got called by one guy then raised 3.5 times my raise by the person next to him , so i make a pot sized raise. The guy who called my initial raise calls again. The raiser of my initial raise pushes all in. I call & the other guy call. They cards are turned over the guy who pushed all in has pocket queens & the other guy has pocket 7s. My aces hold up. Wented on to win SNG as well

Hi and welcome to FTR, it's great to have you here!
Always great to have some donkey(s) who is willing to get it AI when you have AA. Even better when a) your hand holds up and b) you go on to win.

thanks for the welcome. I can understand why the guy with pocket queens may have gone all but if I had his hand & was re-raised I would have just called. Though I don't know what the guy with pocket 7's was thinking

The beauty of it is tha the guy with 7's wasn't thinking. He looked at his monitor, saw a PP and said "WHOOO-HOOO I HAVE A POCKET PAIR".
Nice job on the hand and the win and welcome to FTR>

taipan is that the odds of a lower pocket pair winning a hand against bigger pp or the odds of low pp beating big pp on Bodog

Assuming the hand is played to showdown the lower PP will win a bit less the 20% of the time (exact % depends on suite and PP value) of course in this case (77 vs QQ vs AA) the 77 chances decrease a bit

Perhaps he saw your screen name or your avatar and thought his 7s would be lucky.

Oh yeah, of course - my 1 time in 8.5 was the chance of a lower pair hitting a set on the flop.
