Hey MTT buffs,
The WCOOP starts tommorrow, and Massimo and I are going to be covering it. Details are offered here: http://www.flopturnriver.com/blogs/archives/17

We will be updating this blog continuously through the rest of September, so for full WCOOP coverage go no further than FTR!

Anyone who is in any WCOOP event, please PM me after you bust out, sending me any interesting hands (the hand you busted out on will be good), and tell me what place you got so I can cover how well you did. You can post it in this thread if you want.

Event 1 is tommorrow! I wish all FTRers much luck!

-ISF

I actually don't think many of the big MTT pros associated with FTR are playing any. I may just be talking out of my ass though.

Hey guys,
Max has told me that triptanes and hartlin both entered event #1. I did not know this. It would be greatly appreciated if anyone who enters any event contacts me so I can cover how well you do. It would also help me if you send me HH's where you made a great play or was faced with a tough decision. I know this is somewhat of a burden, but it would be really appreciated.
-Danny

P.S. Please tell me what place you both got.

Update on last nights $215r:

AK > AQ at the end of rebuy hour so with addon, I have 18.5k in for $615 (minimum)

I really stayed around this amount for 3 hours. Some significant hands that came up .. ran AK into AA for a 20k pot, so back to 10k. I grinded back up to 20k only to run QQ into KK .. back to 10k! And again, I grinded back to a high of 27k but played a pot with 77 vs a maniac BB which put me back to 20k.

I got moved to a new table and there was a player limping every single hand and calling every single raise, so I knew I had to be patient and wait. So sitting at about 15k, I picked up KK, pushed over a raise, got called by AQ. You can figure out the rest

Played 6 1/2 hours, 150 from the money. Today is a new day. It is razz time.

PS: I'm officially playing the Main Event

Didn't feel well yesterday so skipped the 215r, played the hu today. Played like a moron against morons, so out in round 2. Really disappointing I couldn't adapt effectively to the deep structure (I have some experience with hu turbo's), 10tabling at the time didn't help either.

Looking forward to the 1k on Sunday!

I'm playing the $320 6max tomorrow and then I don't play until the $2,600 main event on sunday. Can't wait!

Surely there are a few others on here who will be playing?

Time for me to finally run good and win some cash!

Just won a seat to the ME.

Ship the million 1 time plz!

Why is it that when I want to save some $$ and decide to sat into a big event, I lose even more money at cash games than the seat is worth

Or when you decide to clear a bonus but lose 10x that bonus in the process.
