    These are all from different tourneys and I was basically in a vaccum on all of these. But I know that all three players were your typical 5.50 player.

    Hand1: I think I'd check/call and vbet river if he checks behind, seeing as we are either far ahead or far behind.

    Hand2: I think this is entirely read dependent, but even then I can't see normal players 3betting with anything less than 99 or AJs. In that case you're only ahead against 3 hands and a dog/flip to the others. It's not worth it IMO.

    Hand3: I think fold/shove are both supportable choices. Not sure on the EV stuff tho.

    I'm a noob so consider that when you read my drivel...

    Hand 1 (KTo) - I think I agree with humanfugitive, I would check behind. It is true that we are only fearing the Q and J (and 4s2s of course) but a lot of players will check those hands hoping to get a bet out of you. If you check behind on the turn you have to call a river value bet, however - by checking behind worse spades will often bet the river.

    Hand 2 (JJ) - I shove over. $5.50 players will re-raise with a lot of hands that you beat, if they have overcards to your JJ, a) you have the right price to flip and b) there is some overlay in the pot (your 150 bet plus the blinds). Even at humanfugitive's range we are ahead:

    Code:
    	equity 	win 	tie
    Hand 0: 	52.243%  	51.29% 	00.95% 	   { JJ }
    Hand 1: 	47.757%  	46.80% 	00.95% 	   { 99+, AJs+, AJo+ }
    Hand 3 (99) - I would fold, you don't have implied odds to play for set value, you are far from closing the action so somebody could re-raise after you putting you in an even worse spot, and given that Button raised over limpers you have to give him credit for something of a hand (and he won't fold if you shove over).

    If Button had limped I would instashove.

    so you think he would bet 3x the pot with the J or Q of Spades? Man I would hurt my wrist getting to the push button with that kind of bet.

    I can't tell if I'm following this right, but shoving over on the river in hand 1 is really bad. call or fold is tough. This is exactly how a lot of people will play the nuts and given we don't have a great price folding isn't too bad, but we checked turn specifically to get a bluff so we should probably call.

    Oops, yes I meant check and see what he does. After opp bets 600, although I agree with drmcboy that this could be a bluff or a weaker spade, I think opp has the Js or Qs often enough to mean that we don't have the right price to call. Plus if we do call, it is likely that we will face another bet on the river (AI given the pot size) and we will be in a tough spot.
