I don't quite understand what Hero's dilema with the KQ is. Is he deciding to call/raise/fold? What's the problem? and how can he make assumptions if they play after him?
Does he mean, "if I raise and they call"?

I worked with an older gentleman a few years ago, who used to call me a computer whiz. One day I offered to help him do some simple things on his computer, to make life a little easier on him. When we were in his office, and he had his mouse in hand, I told him to go to his desktop. He put his mouse down and looked at his mohagony desk.
I just didn't know where to begin with this guy. I think the same principle applies here.
