1st gets entry, 2nd gets buyin back. What do you do here with 3 people left? IMO this is a solid call. Villain is 58/41 over 34 hands, has tried this all in reraise steal a couple of times already.

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em Tournament, 250/500 Blinds (3 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

BB (t13004)
Hero (Button) (t5180)
SB (t8816)

Hero's M: 6.91

Preflop: Hero is Button with Q, A
Hero bets t1500, 1 fold, BB raises to t13004 (All-In), Hero ???

Why not just shove in the first place rather than raising 3x BB then wondering what to do?

As Tai said, push pre. As played I think you have to cry and fold because you made a mistake and made an exploitable play. Find an ICM calculator online and calculate your equity before and after the call. That should indicate whether you should call or fold here, however this is a horrible spot to put yourself in.

Edit: Reading this again, I realised I explained the ICM calc rather horribly. As always Taipan is every noob's Hero!

If you send me the payout structure (including the value of the ticket and the amount of the buyin that you'll get refunded for second) I'll run the ICM calculation for you.

I believe the payout was something like $2 for second, $12 entry for 1st, and buyin was $1. Probably not exactly those numbers, but pretty close.
