Would you generally push or fold in these spots?

Reads would help, but as stated...

Hand #1: Push. You have 900 behind, he doesn't have great odds to call and I generally consider people who min-raise to be weak (not necessarily weak hand, but a weak player).

Hand #2: Fold. You only have 300 more, you're getting called. You have a couple hands after this to push with anything and a wee bit of fold equity.

    yeah totally read depedent here.

Hnad 1- No line on min raise, I would fold. If it's standard, push.

Hand 2 - if he's been active, push, if not fold.

Insta-push both. They look like blind steals and you probably won't get a better hand before the blinds hit you again. To answer your question, yes, you're desperate enough.

Both insta-pushes for me. Hand 1 I'd say you were way ahead, hand 2 is probably not as clear cut.

Hand#1: Push - you need to make a move quick, the big stack has minraised, which will give the BB a good reason to fold unless he has a very good hand. The big stack's raising range is very wide, most likely you are ahead.

Hand#2: I agree it is less of a clear call, and it depends on the table behaviour, if it is a tight table I fold this and push any hand that is folded to me. However if the table is active and every pot is getting raised (as is usually the case in $16 turbo Sngs) then I push here, chances are you will not get a better hand before the blinds hit you again.
