I probably bet the turn again.

Think about it.
Range of ahnds preflop
and then range of hands on the flop.

Hell I wouldnt be surprised if he had AQ here. But I bet the turn again.

How large of a bet on the turn? And what do you do on the river if smooth called?

I ended using check/call, is that a fine line?

Thanks.

I'm a big fan of value betting the flop and trying to push them off the turn if its 2 to a flush board. Price em in, push em out.

You mean the revolver, sir?
Precisely.

'rilla - do you usually bet to protect (ie, potsize or thereabouts) when you land TPTK and the bd is two to a flush? I'm paranoid so I usually do this...

on the other hand, you're more along the lines of extracting value which I can understand. OTOH when the scare card comes out...

Kinda ugly. PF reraise indicates AA/KK/QQ maybe AK maybe maybe AQ or JJ/TT or something played very aggressive. Don't like that flat call on the river. I don't really believe he has diamonds, but AKd is technically possible.

You've already committed 1/3 of your stack. 1/2 pot bet is 500 of your remaining 1000.

Either push praying that he's got KK or JJ, or check. I just don't think you can get away if you bet the turn. You bet 500 - if he pushes or calls... ugly.
