I ran this through SitNGoWiz which assured me it is a fold regardless of their push and call ranges. It makes sense because of the likelihood one of them going out, but with only 4xBB remaining if I fold, and a good chance of tripling my stack I thought I had made a really stupid decision at the time.

Interestingly, if the button is pushing any two and the SB is calling about 60% it is actually pretty close. I would have thought it would be closer to a push if he was calling a lower % than this due to the higher chance he will win and nobody being knocked out, but it actually becomes more negative under 60%.

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, 6+0.50 Tournament, 250/500 Blinds (3 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

saw flop | saw showdown

SB (t3905)
Hero (BB) (t2625)
Button (t6970)

Hero's M: 3.50

Preflop: Hero is BB with A, K
Button bets t6970 (All-In), SB calls t3655 (All-In), 1 fold

Flop: (t8310) 7, 4, 3 (2 players, 2 all-in)

Turn: (t8310) 8 (2 players, 2 all-in)

River: (t8310) 2 (2 players, 2 all-in)

Total pot: t8310

Results:
Button had 8, A (one pair, eights).
SB had J, J (one pair, Jacks).
Outcome: SB won t8310

One thing to consider is that if the button wins, you're third if you call, and at least second if you fold.

In general, you'll need a monster to call two all-ins. I'd call KK+ here. If you switch my stack with SB's stack, I'd call with QQ+, AKs.

I think I'd go ahead and call with QQ if the players are loose, but in a $6.50 where people are too tight, even QQ may be a fold. AK is not even close.
