Villain had been consistently beating me out of heads up pots, so when I see AA, I wanted to get him to put all his chips in the pot by the river no matter what. He was the only player who was always getting the drop on me, even though I always had position on him!

 turn is a little weird, I'd go with 15k

I don't see what the question is. You said yourself you are not folding this hand.

I guess my question is whether or not it's smart to get in a "I'm not folding no matter what" mentality. That, and below...

The guy flips over Ts9s at the end, so he had a flush draw the whole time, just lucked into the straight on the river. He had nothing but draws up until that point.

So, that in mind, should I be able to make that kind of read and realize that overpair might not be good? I just hate throwing my hands up and saying "Eh, those are the breaks sometimes" when I lose a big hand, would much rather look for ways to not do it again lol.

no

It is of course not good to never fold a hand no matter what, but if you've already folded a bunch of hands to a player and you have an over pair you're not going to fold it on this kind of board.

Also, lose the 'nothing but draws' thinking. Draws are hand with equity, just like made hands.

Yea, I think it was reasonable for me to go all the way with an over pair against this guy... though I think playing it a bit stronger would have been safer. As always thanks for the insights!
