I've been playing pretty tight and moved it in a few times recently. Seat 5 has been the most aggressive player at the table up to this point. Seat 4 has not played many pots. In this structure Top 5 finishers regain entry to Step 3 and Top 2 gain entry to $215 Step 4.

PokerStars Game #33907194063: Tournament #202854480, $75+$7 USD Hold'em No Limit - Level VI (100/200) - 2009/10/11 13:44:55 ET
Table '202854480 1' 9-max Seat #3 is the button
Seat 1: TheFan83 (1270 in chips)
Seat 3: ThinkDustin (1880 in chips)
Seat 4: tossedafumo (2465 in chips)
Seat 5: simongii (3150 in chips)
Seat 6: dickkemp (1020 in chips)
Seat 7: jzg80 (1865 in chips)
Seat 9: JochenCash (1850 in chips)
tossedafumo: posts small blind 100
simongii: posts big blind 200
*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to ThinkDustin [5c 5h]
dickkemp: folds
jzg80: folds
JochenCash: folds
TheFan83: folds
ThinkDustin: raises 1680 to 1880 and is all-in

Was this the right move given the circumstances? What is the best play in this spot?

I don't play this format but this seems OK to me, perhaps the only thing not to like is that you are shoving into the two big stack in the blinds. That said, considering stack sizes you should have a good bit of fold equity here.

There's 7 players left, you can shove a lot looser than you could with 6 people left. Any pair is an easy shove here.

I've been playing some Step 2-4 lately by the way.

That's OK, you have less than 10 BB, that's a good spot to shove, maybe double up on a coin flip or at least get the blinds.
