What's my move here? Early on so no real reads, villain seems fairly steady.

With position, call and see whether opp bets again on the turn. If he does, fold. If he checks, take the free card and see the river.

Limped in like that, I've taken to putting in a reraise on the flop if I think I might have best hand.

With the flat call at these levels I often see another turn bet but still arent sure if I have best hand or not, but need to fold. If I reraise him and he calls or raises over then I fold happy.

I think my approach wins more when you are ahead, but obviously costs more when you're not. It does save you some money calling then folding when you're ahead though.
Just playing to improve.
