Any advise would be helpful to make it to the finial table tonight. 120 people will be in the tournament. I always seem to make it to the 4 table with short chips before getting cut.

Before the cut off at the break. I am chip lead at every table they send me too. Then from there I dont know what happens to all me chips.

Exp... I am chip lead and blinds are 600/1200. In my hand I have JJ and I bet 4000. Some one bets all in. so at this point I am now pot commented for 3000 more. so I do it.

He turns over QQ. I dont hit, so he takes the pot. And then from that point on. I am losing chips. Because the blinds are eating me alive and/or i dont hit with my high cards.

Any advise on how I can better my game would be helpful. Thank You.

this a pretty vague question so its pretty hard to answer. if your being blinded down you should be looking for spots to steal blinds, if your really low be looking to open shove in LP with a very wide range. if your loosing big chip leads when the blinds get high your probably calling raises to loose, and not capitalizing on spots to steal blinds. this is very general stuff, try posting some specific hands, you'll get far more specific answers.

AJ off suit suck ass! Even if they were suited, they still suck!
2000/4000. here's the hand;
Everyone has folded. I am right before the button. I limped in AJ perflop.
Button folds.
S.B limps in
B.B raises to all in. 14000
I call leaving me with 300 left (LOL)
B.B. says I will put her all in. Well I was pot commented at this point. So I called.
I hit my Jack. But I lost.
B.B turned over AA in his hand and won
S.B turned over 88 in his hand and lost.
I hate AJ.

quick improvement guide

read something about poker. HOH, the stickies here, the description of High Stakes Poker on the TiVo.

both hands you describe are shoves pre, and it is not at all close.

don't open limp for the next 6 months.

I've just made you 175% better.

agreed...and it seems like youre just being results oriented...in the first hand, either raise AI or raise smaller inducing a shove from a wider range
