Default $6 Turbo: Holding 22 in a wet side pot... thoughts?

Everyone at the table has been playing pretty aggressive. I call preflop because I can afford it, and would like to eliminate the shorty by checking it down with P Dawg. Since the side pot was bigger than the main pot, it was almost too easy to expect a bluff. Your thoughts? How do you play this?

This room is a good place to be
fold preflop, fold on the turn. I just dont even mess with 22 here. I dunno how right a fold is, but that's what i'd do.

Stacks are too small to be going in with 22 with the intention of checking it down against an aggressive raiser.

    Fold.
    Pre.
    Flop.

I might even fold if there was no side pot (raise to 325 or something).

Preflop aside (if I have chips, I use them, especially in a turbo), is this just a good read or am I stupid lucky? The 6 on the turn doesn't help him, and I had a very reliable read that he would bet the flop if checked to with any pair or a draw of some sort. I didn't raise the turn because he would take a similar line on a monster. I was confident that a call on the turn would give me a free showdown if he still had nothing after the river. If he bets the river, I'm totally out of the hand. Although a J or 8 on the river beats me no matter what he has, this just seemed like a good spot to pick off a bluff.

It's your read, and you're the big stack - go with it.
