$6.50 BB TPNK line

    Default $6.50 BB TPNK line

If I had a read I can't remember it now. If this table flashed up and I noticed a big stack SB open limping my BB i'd assume donk with FA, so that can be my read.

Just after a line check that's all

I think the flop call is fine, this kind of overbet is very often a hand that has totally missed the flop and wants you to go away. If he fired with another big bet on the turn I would get out pretty fast though.

On the turn, I think I just call the donkminbet. There aren't really any draws to worry about (I don't give credit for runner runner clubs) and just calling keeps the pot a little smaller making it an easier river call if he bets again.

As played, I think the river v-bet is good, but if you hadn't raised the turn it would be a smaller bet, making it easier to fold if you got C-R AI.

There's no way you should fold to a CRAI on the river. He has Kx a ton here and it obv. looks like the nuts.

Whilst I agree that we just caught up to all other Kx hands other than K2, K7, KQ and AK, would opp really C-R AI the river with something that we're either beating or splitting the pot with?

Yes, he would. They do it all the time and if you're going to fold to a shove, there's no way you should bet this river imo. What are we expecting to call us that we beat anyway?

As for being beaten, how does he ever bet KQ/K7 30 chips on the turn and once you've shown you've liked your hand, how does he not 3bet or donk the river? Most fish hate to risk not getting value for their big hands. Can you really put many 2s in his range?

Lots of hands that we beat will call a half-pot bet on the river. Qx, pocket pairs 88-JJ that wanted to get all tricky preflop, maybe even 33-66.

Well, the question is what would he C-R AI on the river that we beat? I think that donks actually think opposite to what you suggest and don't bet/raise enough with their big hands. A donk with KQ/K7/K2 will very often minbet the turn and just call a raise to try to not scare us away, and will then check the river to try to check-raise all in, but losing value in the process if we check behind.

In this spot, I think a lot of hands that we beat will check/call the river but hands that check-raise AI mostly beat us.

FWIW I'm not calling a shove over on the river, but I think not vbetting here is bad in a blind v blind. He could have a number of things including 7x that call me here in a $6.50. I hardly ever get CRAI on the river in a $6.50 so I'm not too worried about it
