CARDSON

I was in a $5 tournament on ultimatebet with 832 starting players tonight. I was doing quite well in the first hour at around 4000 chips. Second hour I got absolutely no hands that I could play. By the end of the second hour I was down to about 1500 because of this. I ended up going down to 600 chips with blinds of 150-300. Then I tripled up to be at 9000 chips. Then these 2 hands hit me and I was out. Table was quite tight, lots of preflop raising except on these 2 hands. By this time there was only 85 left before this first hand. I want to know if everyone thinks I played these hands right.

Any feedback would be appreciated. I believe I played the hands quite well due to circumstances. Though I have only been playing poker for about 4 months.

dosnt look like you played those hands, you pushed both of them, that is fine and probly the right play at that stage, i dont always like to push kings i like to bet a large amount and see a flop see if an ace falls cause usually its a fool with an ace that calls, then you can get away, but dont second guess yourself you got your chips in with dominating hands both times and got sucked out on 2 in a row it happens.

Well I meant should I have pushed in each of those times. The first time with Kings I wanted to scare anyone who didn't have a real hand away, though maybe I should have bet big and hoped it came heads up and maybe I could have scared him away on his straight draw. I would not have pushed in on the AK if I had more chips still, but I only had 5x the big blind and I was UTG.
