Not a lot of raising going on at this point in the tournament, the table seemed very tight.
I wasn't sure what to do here, so I took the advice I was given of "if you're unsure during low blinds, then just fold." Maybe I should have raised after the flop? I don't know. This was only my third tournament, so go easy on me if this seems like an easy call to you.

Firstly, welcome to SNGs and to the SNG forum.
Secondly, because you only have around 15BBs, it is a waste of chips to call here preflop. Fold. You don't hit big enough often enough to justify spending the chips. The 3 left to act could easily raise and you have to fold as well as the times you get into trouble flopping 1 pair hands and draws.
As played and on the flop you have a baby flush draw and a gutshot. I hate calling because it's a big bet and i'll only have a pot sized bet left on the river. This means if I miss the turn I have to fold to his shove.
Shoving over on the flop is ok. You have outs, but not sure about the fold equity given he donked into 4 players so he likes his hand. I wouldn't be surprised to learn lots of your outs are dirty (like he would make a higher flush if it comes) and for these reasons I fold flop.
Now for the turn. 500 to call into 1500 and 500 behind. You're totally committed if you call here so let's stop. We're not sure if we're drawing live and if we fold we have a 1000 chips which is plenty enough to go on and win with. Therefore the turn fold is good IMO.

Thanks for the welcome. It's good to know I did something right, even though it cost me 400 chips to get there. That's okay, I'm still learning. Everything you said makes total sense. I guess I thought because the table was so tight and I was in late position, I could get away with trying to loosen up my calling range a little.

I agree with everything that Gingerwizard said - I have clicked the autofold button before the preflop action gets anywhere near me.
As played, I think I would shove over on the flop with a flush draw and a gutshot. You have up to 11 good outs and I think most of them would be good because there aren't many hands that would bet the flop that would have you drawing dead or close to dead. You are most likely up against something like Tx or maybe even Ax. Calling is no good on the flop since you will most likely face another bet on the turn, meaning you don't have odds to try to hit one of your outs - I would rather fold than call.
As played, on the turn, even if all your outs are good, you have about a 22% chance of hitting on the river so you're about 3.5 to 1 against to hit, but you're only getting 3:1 pot odds so you have to fold.
