Default $120 99 in the BB, guy puts > half his stack in

Final 2 tables, 15 left. payout structure is pretty steep. 10K for first, 5.6K for 2nd...10th gets 489, 9th 750

We have ALL of the big stacks at our table. I'm the chipleader with 1.55M

    Blinds are 2,500/5,000/500

UTG has ~600K and limps for 10K

BTN has 390,000 and makes it....250,000 to go

SB folds and I have 99 in the BB.

Villain might be steaming from doubling up someone a few hands earlier with AJ > AK.

If he tabled AKo would you call?

I highly doubt you have more equity vs his range than vs AKo. This is largely a function of how soft the tourney is, IMO, which considering you have a limp and an iso raise to 25 big blinds, pretty damn soft apparently.

do you get it in JJ+/AK

Yeah those hands can actually dominate stuff really easily and are all snaps. TT/99 may be called as well, I'm really not sure. Your EV of having a stack less his stack will still be extremely high, this is actually a pretty low risk spot to obtain a commanding chip lead. I think I'd call if he tabled AKo, but fold vs AKs. Dunno if that makes much sense but that's where I'm at. Consult a tourney player.

I fold and go high 5 the tournament director, is this the best $120 bi tourney ever? I might fold AK/TT, calling with JJ

It was, you can tell because I totally butchered this hand and the SFD hand I posted before and I still chopped it.

I mean I've always been in the camp of not passing up any small edges but it seemed there were better spots.

Well, tournaments are wacky in that EVs of calling are always compared to EVs of folding, whereas in cash games they're usually just compared to zero. It's easily possible for folding to be the largest edge in a spot like this, and not just for ICM-based reasons.
