    Default $11 PP Nice set

I would have loved to check call this flop hadnt a FD been there. Any other thoughts on this play? God I hate when you get like 4-5 handed and then they all split after the flop .. Like how I kept the trip Q's around? I knew if I bet out weak on that turn he would make a move.

I dont like the PF call that much, but based on the post about playing earlier with known donkish types, maybe this isnt such a bad idea after all... what was your read on villain?

Early on .. no reads.. Iam thinking more post flop calling instead of raising .. as I should have just called the lead out bet by Mp2 . With 22 + Iam calling min raises all day long from any position.

Well the preflop action is debatable. You don't close the action (or are even close to it) and if someone else re-raise, you have to dump it. If you don't hit your set, you have to dump the flop. Flop looks fine, but what's with the turn? Why bet 300 into a 2000 pot? That is such a donk bet.

That is sort of ring strategy rather than sng strategy. You have 100 bbs in ring (or should) at all times. In this instance you have 40. SnG poker isn't as deep as ring. I don't hate the pf call that much, but I probably would fold in your position.

ante up with your ass cuz you ain't got a penny

preflop is only debatable because there's only one in the pot atm.

My turn play is solely based on putting villain on a Queen. My flop raise looked like a semi bluff into a FD hopefully. When the queen hits the turn, villain thinks he is way ahead here and will come over the top of my donkey bet. Villain has KQ. As far as the PF action, I mean of course Iam dumping it to re raises and if it gets all crazy... Min Raises with calls all the way around really build nice pots for sets. The 300 bet would be offering almost 7:1 odds to appear as if Iam trying to control the pot so I can make my FD. His re raise all in told me ... " Iam not drawing my hand is made" I have a Q. Whats so interesting about this hand IMO ? I actually used a thought process.... Very basic, but Iam proud of myself. What does villain have? Q K, A Q, Q J, heart/ heart . What does villain think I have? A 10, K 10, J 10.... heart/heart.

For instance when Iam drawing on a FD I will bet as if I have TPTK so it appears Iam scared of the FD and protecting my hand.. " Only with redraws with overs too" . Confuses people often.

You are right, and since I have stepped back into play SNG's again... I need to drop this . But, a min raise early ... ? Worth a call.. 9 times out of 10 though ... Someone will bump it up in LP ..... In that case its time to go. Position here is key to dropping this hand I agree. But I was happy to play this hand through for 120 PF with the blinds being 30 60. I would go as far as paying to see a flop in level 1-2 4X the BB in MP and later with small PP's. Any PP min raised ... Iam seeing a flop .
