Post subject: Poker Tracker freezing my computer

Anyone have this problem? when I run HUD my computer freezes for like 30 seconds periodically causing me to miss some hands, the more tables I open the more often it happens...
I will ask on the poker tracker website as well, just seeing if anyone here knows

ive never had this problem, but i think you should post how many tables you have open when you start to notice the lagg/freezing as well as how good your computer is

i start having problems at 3-4 tables, my computers new but not great, its an hp laptop i bought for like 800 bucks canadian it has an amd athlon x2 processor...

ram is more important for pt3 than cpu. 2gb is minimum for larger databases. 3gb+ is perfect.

Do you give this while playing on multiple tables at a time? or only one table? I think it has something to do with your processor.

it might be the processor, i have 4gigs of ram. im computer retarded, is it expensive/possible to upgrade a processor

Could also be only a problem of RAM.
I had the same problem .
I used to play 12 tables and action was very very slow
I had an old processor and very few RAM (512MB) , just increased it and it worked .
