poker tracker?

i've been reading a lot about people using this... i'm just curious. if a person knows (not exactly obviously) the percentage of hands they play, amount they win... etc, how does the tracker help yer game specifically. i've read the website but i guess i jus' don't get things w/out hands on. and what does it cost

You can look back at hands and replay them and see where you made mistakes.

you now also have this info for any opponents you play more than once.

It is really hard to imagine all the things that it can do without having it to play with yourself. You can analyze any aspect of your game that you could imagine. A registered copy is 55 dollars. The guys who run the site are really good about customer support. Download a trial copy at their site to have a visual on it. You really need to just kind of get it and play with it some. that's what I did before I purchased it.

and did you notice a difference in yer game? how soon did it start to improve your game (if it did)... thanks, i'll check out the trial version.

I've gotten it just in the last week. It's already pointed out things that I can work on. Results are still pending. It's hard to see how knowing everything about every hand you've ever played online and having a way to recall those hands at any time would not be tremendously helpful.
