Hey guys. There are some very quality e-books appears in last months.
Firstly, it's Cole South "cts" book called "Let there be range"
and 2nd it's DC coach BalugaWhale's book called "EASY game: making sense of NLHE"
But price is big ~1000$ for each.
Just got both (we share price with friend). But which better? It's a really tought question. I start reading both, first impression that i like Baluga's more, it's easy to read, especially for non-native speakers and i love the way Baluga explain concepts. Also
"Easy game" bigger (130 pages vs 80). Need more in-depth look to compare them.
High price is debatable, but these books definately not for NL10-grinders readers, more like NL100-200+, so it's just 5 buy-ins, which you can loose in one session.
Please post your reviews if you read them.

My review is that you are fucked if you split the cost without the author's permission and just publicized it.

I find the terminology interesting here ......its almost as if you're saying " Hey I lose this much in some sessions so I don't mind the price.". A more positive comment would be "the price may seem steep but I'm sure that as a result of buying this book, I only need to make an extra 5 buyins from the concepts it introduced/explained and the rest is pure profit."

Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.

A better response from me should be to check out Improva's book called "The Poker Puzzle". It's $400 and comes with 2 hours of coaching and he takes a ton of time to work with you. Only negative from him is the recent dilemma of him (or he says "his friend") trying to hype up the book.

Speaking of NLHE ebooks, I've pre-ordered Ed Miller's Small Stakes No Limit Hold'em
