My guess is that he gets referral money for every signup so he's splitting part of that with you by buying you a book.

i can't get the link here for some reason, but, if you go to ebay.com, do a search under books for 'SKLANSKY', there's quite a few people in there offering the same thing...

Eddie - For pacific poker that dude is getting $150 for you signing up in affiliate revenue, $125 for empire poker, and $65 for partypoker. He is by far getting the better deal. If you already have partypoker on your computer though it wont let you register for empire too. Anyway I know there are affiliates out there that pay you half straight up in cash. You gotta be careful because I'm sure a lot of em screw you but I have read in forums that there are some good ones. I only have an affiliate account at partypoker or id do it and pay you half in cash. I think you already have a party poker account from reading a previous post of yours but if you don't let me know and I can pay you 33 bucks to like your paypal account or something if you sign up using coupon code BOONDOCK. I'd have to check with Tyson first because this is his site and if he cares I wouldn't do it but if you are interested just reply to this.

Nope I have been on party for like 2 months and I haven't ever gotten anything about a redeposit bonus - maybe its because I play on there so much that they figure they won't waste their money giving me redeposit bonuses.

You can get a 20% bonus the first time you use IGM pay and that is over and above any bonuses you have ever gotten. So its sort of like a redeposit bonus - you just deposit 100 from your checking account and get a 20 bonus and have to play 100 raked hands. Basically free money. For some reason that link keeps starting me at the bottom of the page so just scroll up to the top and you'll see the post.
