Default HEM1 only showing losing hands

Winning hands are imported and shown in the replayer but show as losing one bb in the hands, reports and graphs tabs. Losing hands are shown correctly. I've updates thru the link in the common Q&S and cleared the filter.

This is only happening for cake poker. My old stars and ftp hands are correct.

I'm not using the HUD because it's not allowed on cake but I would like to be able to track my own play. I'll probably contact support but thought I'd try here first.

This was a bug in an eariler version. Now you have updated you will need to delete and reimport those hands. Latest version is 1.12.04.

Also Cake's policy has changed. In version 1.12.01 we added support for a HUD on Cake. Only session stats are allowed during live play. If this policy changes we’ll update our support for the Cake network again.

Thanks for the quick reply. I'm gonna have some dumb questions related to this so I'll keep them in this thread.

First, how do you delete the hands?

You can either filter for the hands using the filters in HM then delete them from the hands view column (right click ---> delete all hands in list) or you can purge the hands from your database.

Hands purged, actually I somehow deleted them completely from my computer but that's the stupid stuff I do when left to my own devices.

Started using HUD on cake and found that there's no choice for the cake network in the preferred seating tab. It seems to randomly assign players to different seats on different tables, and since players are labelled player1, player2... there's no way of knowing which is which, any thoughts on fixing this?

Purging does not delete the original hand histories. HM moves all the original hands it auto imports to an archive folder for performance reasons. Any hands you manually imported From File/Folder would not have been archived, only the auto imported hands.

Your \HMArchive is likely not in your \Holdem Manager directory. The default path is C:\HMArchive, but you may have put it anywhere.

To verify the location: Options ---> Configure Auto Import Folders ---> Edit ---> Archive Folder: ___________________

The archive should be organized by \Month\Day Of Month (example: C:\HMArchive\2011\07\31).

Support for preferred seating on Cake will be added in a future update although I have no ETA for this at the moment. Cake literally censors the player names in the handhistories. So the HUD will only display the hero's name, and cannot display the names of the opponents. We hope to just display the censored name in the future instead of player1, player2. So it will display Ang*****, Pat**, 1DE***, or ang, Pat, 1DE making it easier to know the HUD panel is under the correct player name.

So... if some idiot was getting an error with HEM1 and deleted said HEM from his computer, thinking he could just reinstall and fix the problem, where would he go to reinstall? Seems I can only find HEM2 download.

Or did I just completely screw myself?

Is it possible this has changed? Player names are now showing on hud and I can see all villain hands in reports, but for some reason I'm still only seeing session stats on hud. If this policy has changed, is there a filter or something I need to fix to get all villain stats showing?

    Their policy hasn't changed.
They're experimenting with allowing tracking software, and thus have stopped censoring their handhistories.

But at the moment they only allow session stat, and don't allow the HUD to display life-time stats.

I'm having this issue again but only with some hands. Mostly some of biggest winning hands are not being imported. I can find them where hand histories are saved in my computer, they just aren't making it to HEM. I've tried manually importing them but that doesn't work either.

This isn't a major issue since it's not a lot of hands, but it would be nice to see them on my graph and winrate.

Hopefully HMS still reads this since the forum has obv gone away.

Which HM version are you using? Latest is 1.12.09: http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate.exe

If you can't find the hands in the cake handhistory folder and in the HMarchive folder (default c:\hmarchive) i guess the pokerclient is not writing the hands.
You should contact Cake support and ask for the missing handhistories.
