What is the FTR Book Club?
  • The FTR Book Club is a series of guided, focused discussions of poker books. All book discussions are ongoing. If you'd like to discuss a book that's already been covered, just post in the appropriate thread and bump it!
  • The goal of the FTR Book Club is for everyone to understand the books we discuss. Seems obvious, but we need to keep in mind that players of all skill levels and experience will be participating. There are very few stupid questions.
  • Posting of hand histories is welcome and encouraged. However, the hand histories should be directly relevant to the book chapter being discussed. Limit your hand histories to examples of strategies covered in the book, or questions about whether you're applying a strategy correctly. General questions about hands belong in other forums.
  • The moderator's weekly questions are just a starting point. Feel free to post your own questions.
  • If you'd like to suggest a book for the next Book Club, post in this forum, or PM the Tools Of Poker moderator.

Below is a collection of links to all past and present FTR Book Club discussions.

Feel free to bump any of the discussion threads below with new questions or comments, but please keep your post relevant to the topic/chapter discussed in that thread.
