It's not often 2 players in the same hand play this badly...

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (6 max, 6 handed) converter

Fnord ($37.45)
UTG ($8.40)
MP ($23.75)
CO ($52.87)
Button ($24.70)
SB ($21.03)

Preflop: Fnord is BB with 9, 9.
UTG calls $0.50, MP folds, CO folds, Button calls $0.50, SB completes, Fnord raises to $2, UTG calls $1.50, Button folds, SB calls $1.50.

Flop: ($6.50) Q, 7, 6 (3 players)
SB bets $1, Fnord calls $1, UTG calls $1.

Turn: ($9.50) 9 (3 players)
SB bets $3, Fnord raises to $6, UTG calls $5.40 (All-In), SB calls $3.

River: ($26.90) A (3 players, 1 all-in)
SB checks, Fnord bets $12.03, SB calls $12.03 (All-In).

Final Pot: $50.96

Results in white below:
SB shows 6s 7s (two pair, sevens and sixes).
Fnord shows 9h 9s (three of a kind, nines).
UTG shows 8d 5h (straight, nine high).
Outcome: UTG wins $25.70. Fnord wins $25.26.

Yeah, I've seen a lot worse than either of those guys, but I think Fnord's point was that the suited connector guy first shouldn't have called Fnord's raise preflop, and then should've bet a lot more than a dollar on two pair, and the under the gun player shouldn't have even dreamed about calling with 85 suited in early position, let alone calling the raise.

And both hands had both hole cards under Fnord's pocket 9s.

UTG calls off nearly 1/4 of his stack with 85o (this has got to me in the bottom 25% of starting hands.) Catches about one of the best flops he can hope for and makes no attempt to take over the hand dispite a lack of strength shown.

SB catches bottom 2, a strong but vulnerable hand (only about a 3 to 2 favorite over top pair or an overpair), particularly with a connector since it puts out straight draw(s). Then bets into the pre-flop raiser with less than the amount raised pre-flop! He very easily could have check raised here or flat pushed me off my hand. Good news for him though is that a paired Queen is a scare card for me too. Bets out weak on the turn too, and from there it's check + call for his entire stack.

That being said, $25 NL 6 max can be fustrating since with such horrible play, hand reading goes out the window.
