    Default KhJh in the SB

Alright I came across this hand playing yesterday and was reviewing my best and worst hands today. I dont see how I could have played this hand any different but I also like to think about the villians hand and how he should have played it different too. But I run a blank, How would u have played this hand different if you were the villian or if you were me?

    Villian is a whale with:
    VPIP: 42%
    PFR: 9%
    Hands: 450

WPN No-Limit Hold'em, $0.05 BB (5 handed) - WPN Converter Tool from FTR

    Button ($5.18)
    Hero (SB) ($7.12)
    BB ($1.88)
    UTG ($1.87)
    MP ($1.51)

Preflop: Hero is SB with Kh, Jh
1 fold, MP calls $0.05, 1 fold, Hero raises $0.18, 1 fold, MP calls $0.15

    Flop: ($0.45) Qh, 10h, 6d (2 players)
Hero bets $0.28, MP calls $0.28

    Turn: ($1.01) 9h (2 players)
Hero bets $0.64, MP raises $1.03 (All-In), Hero calls $0.39

    River: ($3.07) 7h (2 players, 1 all-in)

    Total pot: $3.07

    Results:
Hero had Kh, Jh (straight flush, King high).
MP had 7c, 8c (straight, ten high).
    Outcome: Hero won $2.92

What do you think are the pros and cons are of betting bigger or smaller on all streets?

Alright let me brake down my thought process of betting bigger or smaller on each street.

Preflop: CO limps and I raise to 4x in the small blind. I first look at how many hand I have on him which is 560+ so I know my sample is ok, 2nd I look at his VPIP which is 41% overall and 47% in the CO. With my hand of KJs I know my range is alot better then whatever he is limping with and that bb is a nit. With this info I dont want to give the CO a free flop so I want to raise big enough so he is paying for his low hand but not good enought to make him fold. So I would raise 3x +1 for all limpers, but i would also +1 for being OOP. So I see if I raise smaller then 4x i would give me better odds to call plus better odds for bb to call, but in turn im not building the pot with my better range. If I raise larger I would be making him fold alot more of his draw hand and call with all hands that draw even with me or beat me.

Flop: Flop comes Qh10h6d which give me 9 out to the king high flush, 8 out to the straight, 2 out to the straight flush. With this much equity I choose to raise 3/4 pot to .28. If I raised higher I would have knocked out her draws and left only top of his limp range which is the Ahxh which i would be drawing dead with my king high flush draw. If I choose to raise smaller I would be giving him great odds to call with anything which if my draws didnt hit could take me off my hand on the turn, also if I did hit on the turn I wouldnt be building the pot enough to get his whole stack in with a river cbet.

Turn: Turn comes 9h giving me the straight flush, at this point my thought process is how can i get the rest of his money in. I choose to cbet .64 which will leave me just a river cbet to get the rest of his money in. If I choose to just check I would be not getting value with my made hand if he checked behind, If I choose to raise more I could have pushed him off the hand. He choose to push on told of my turn cbet which was a easy call.

Sorry if my thought process come out rambling, I tend to think and type without thinking of spelling or grammer.

I'd go large pre. KJs has so much postflop value that even out of position you figure to win more than your share for every big blind that goes in preflop. I would estimate the maximum amount to raise that wouldn't change his calling strategy substantially (nearly always calling is his strategy) and raise that amount. 30-35 cents sounds about right.

On the flop i'd bet larger as well, for much the same reasons. On the turn he willl have less than the pot left so I would shove nearly every turn and hope he folds. If he doesn't, you have 15 to 21 outs anyway.

This is not a very interesting hand. Try posting marginal situations. KhJh on QhTh6d flop is such a collossal monster that theres really no way you could misplay it aside from folding accidentally.
