I have some difficulty understanding ops motives for the turn bet sizing and how it affects his range, does anyone have input on this?

Who knows why these guys do this. Often it is with a weakish hand, but many of them will call a raise anyway. Sometimes it will also be trappy.

I'd just call with equity and great odds and not overthink it. This isn't a great card to raise as many weak pairs will also have a straight draw and won't fold.

Normally these are "feeler" bets, they are either hoping for you to raise, or they have a very weak holding and are hoping for you to fold or call - they are like a blocker bet in the second case, so you can often raise them as a bluff. Once he bets the river with that sizing though he has 45/78/23/66/44.

Calling is OK on the turn, even with 2 overs you have enough equity to draw out when he's microbetting with a weak hand. Just don't be tempted to call a big river bet if you do spike an ace - after the turn microbet, a bigger river bet means trouble.

I don't mind the flat pre, but even multi-way, you should probably stab at this flop when it checks to you because it is so dry.

On the river I think it's likely he has a six or a straight. But yeah, tiny bets don't make a whole lot of sense in NLHE. I agree with what Pelion and Boris said. Usually I'd just ignore them and do whatever I was going to do.
