Default [5NL] Should I be raising for value here?

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.05 BB (7 handed) - Full Tilt Converter Tool from http://flopturnriver.com

    Hero (Button) ($4.88)
    Villain (SB) ($5.02)

    BB ($4.31)
    UTG ($2.62)
    MP1 ($5.92)
    MP2 ($1.97)
    CO ($3.53)

Preflop: Hero is Button with A, 6
4 folds, Hero raises to $0.15, SB calls $0.13, 1 fold

    I think I should've raised more here, probably to 20c or 25c. Anyway: Villain has a fairly tight PF range, but tends to get sticky with the hands he calls with and loves playing pocket pairs. I put his calling range somewhere in this ballpark: {99-22, AJ-A6+, AQo , KT+,QT+,JT+}

    Flop: ($0.35) 8, 10, 4 (2 players)
    SB checks, Hero checks

I was feeling cheeky, I don't know if this was a good line.

    Turn: ($0.35) 10 (2 players)
SB bets $0.19, Hero calls $0.19

    River: ($0.73) 8 (2 players)
    SB bets $0.35, Hero ???

Should I raise here for value and fold to a re-raise? I think he is re-raising with {88,ATs,A8s,KTs,QTs,JTs,KdQd,KdJd,QdJd,ATo,A8o,KTo ,QTo} which is about 20% of his PF calling range.
One part of me feels that a raise is correct, but I also don't think there are many hands he would call with on such a scary board.

    Thanks!

Pre is a fine size. When you open the button, a huge amount of the profit comes from fold equity of the blinds, so its a good idea to raise to the minimum size that will cause the blinds to fold a reasonable amount. Usually that is between 2.5 and 3 big blinds.

The flop is an extremely bad play. On that flop you figured to get your bet called by any decent diamond which you have drawing dead. Also, if he flopped a set or a flush as well, you check, and the turn brings a fourth diamond, you just missed winning someone's entire stack that you may have otherwise won (he c/r, you reraise and get all in, then the fourth diamond rolls off but the stacks are already in). On the turn I find a raise because I wouldn't expect a ten or decent diamond to fold. Clear call on the river, he is far more likely to have a full house than any other value betting hand. When you decide to raise rivers in spots like this its more important to think about what his range of NON-BLUFFING hands are. Bluffs will either bet fold or very rarely bet 3-bet bluff, so you're mainly concerned about his legitimate value betting range and how much of it you beat. In this spot you're an underdog to that range, even though you're good the majority of the time vs his entire range.

Wow, that all makes a lot of sense! Thanks a lot! I feel like when this stuff is explained to me it is really obvious and logical, but for some reason I can't seem to figure this sort of thing out myself when i'm going through my hand history

If Renton gets there first there's not much the fishes like me can add. I can only point out that you must start building the pot on the Flop, but Renton told you that aswell
