    Default Poker question (Poker Maths)

Hey guys, finally starting to get the grips of pot odds and calculating them, seemed to really confuse me at first then the more I read and practiced the more I understood, the question I have here is what would be the next mathematical side to the game I should start learning now, which one would be the most important etc etc

    Thanks

    Hi MrFerguson91,

I would recommend learning about pot odds, implied odds and reverse implied odds all together. Once you do that, then learning how to count starting hand combinations would probably be a good idea.

I went digging through the BC and SSNL Digest stickies and found this which might be a good starting point because it's straight to the point in introducing the ideas: http://www.flopturnriver.com/pokerfo...ws-173190.html

For learning starting hand combinations, I recommend this post which pretty much covers it: http://www.flopturnriver.com/pokerfo...tc-161721.html
