    I actually like a check behind. At this point we're just trying to get him to fold on this bet since Q's and weak K's that checked are calling our bet. I check behind and call a small bet on the river/bet then, since we'll get a lot more bluffs and villain will put us on AIR.

    I check behind again, there's nothing on this board you should be getting value from. This dry and intimidating, I check behind and bet the river. A wetter one I bet the turn.

    why can't we bet the flop?
    guys he's just looking to complain about taking coolers/beats

    he'll continue to be the type of poker player we all love, the one that isn't any good but thinks he is, and slowly donates to the regulars.

    I should say unless you know he can make two street hero calls because that turn card is an excellent one to induce such a thing.

    How's betting the turn any different? Are you trying to get value from 99/TT. This seems too thin and you're only letting them draw to 2 outs by checking again. You're not going to get more than one street of value anyway.
