    Default LIMIT holdem

Last night I played a home game and finally broke my losing streak, came up 60. I was just wondering how I would go about playing limit. I read that in limit chasing flushes is not necessarily a bad idea because of implied odds and such, but with my friends, who are not that good, they trap often. Because of that I am able to see a lot of cards cheap, or at no cost at all, and catch my flushes and straights. Does this mean that I am playing like a limit texas in a no limit game?

Draws are stronger in limit, baby pocket pairs are weaker because so much money goes into the pot up front. The texture of the game is dictated by how much pre-flop action is going on. If the players are tight (playing few hands, little raising), then it plays a little like no limit. If it's a "no fold 'em" game then you get pot odds on just about any draw. The most wild games cap out pre-flop on just about every hand.

According to a nameless authority, here is how to beat a 8+ player "no fold'em" game, if you find one. Run these hands:
    AA-88
    AK AQ AJ KQ
    Jacks or better suited

Drop it on the flop only if it's hopeless, otherwise raise the flop, then bet/call it down.
