What's worse than a deranged animal biting people on the football pitch? His nation claiming he's being vindicated by the English-speaking press. Uruguay's response is pretty bad. They should be saying that such behaviour cannot be tolerated, they should force him to apologise to the Uruguayan people before he can play for Uruguay again. But no, they blame the English media, even though the papers here before the biting event were hailing him as one of the finest players in the world. This is not an anti-Suarez consipracy, if Rooney had done it he'd be slaughtered by our press too.

The reaction of the Uruguayan FA and football team is disguting. They are basically telling Suarez that his behaviour is acceptable in Uruguay, which in turn looks terrible for their nation.

The mental one is another chick from around the same time, funny you mention it I got a call yesterday from a friend that she's actually been committed - was a big wtf although in retrospect should have known that would happen. Now I'm debating whether to go visit her or not. Her paranoid delusion is in part about me so who knows what is best right.

What was lost in all of the Howard hoopla is how utter shit Belgium was at finishing anything, especially in the first half. Still though, we got proper fucked in the rear; best of luck to Belgium. With US-Mexico-Spain all out early, I might as well cheer for the guys who knocked us out.

A good showing for several of US' young players, but it's still hard to imagine life after Howard. I can't think of a game we won (or drew, for that matter) in the WCF that wasn't thanks in large part to some fabulous saves from him. All this "gutting it out" and "underdogs with heart" stuff won't get you so far if you're down 2-0 by the time clutch time rolls around.
