Pushing preflop is bad, you still have a lot of chips to play with. I might raise slightly more (1200-1300) but 1000 isn't too small either. On that flop I don't know if you can really get away from it no matter what you do.
Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.

I think the line is standard for your position. How would you have handled it if you were in EP?
There's three types of people in the world...those who can count, and those who can't.

I think maybe you want to raise it to 1,5000 pre flop... this will still probley happen but you're making sixes guy think harder.

Still I think you played it very well. That flop seems like a must push because it is draw heavy and he checked, although the check is a little suspicious... You have to bet that flop... could you bet it 2,000-2,500 then fold it when he pushes all in? :\

No way I'm putting over half my stack in and then folding an overpair.

I don't mind a push preflop. If they fold you pick up a decent amount of chips. If they come along you have a great chance to double-up or at least close to it. It also saves thinking about how to play the hand on the flop. If I were to raise pre, it would probably be around 1200-1400.

EP I still raise I think, but a 3x type raise.

Like 9 out of 10 people don't realize low pocket pairs are shit at high blind levels. He'd probably call any raise you threw at him. Bottom line it was destiny.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

There's no interesting decision here. I like raising 1000 a little better than 1500 because of the BB.
