    Default [50NL] KQs...Flop top two on mono board

    Villain is 28/16/6 (3bet) over 114 hands. CB 60%

    PokerStars - $0.50 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 5 players
    Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

    CO: $50.27
    Hero (BTN): $50.00
    SB: $81.87
    BB: $106.90
    UTG: $107.12

    SB posts SB $0.25, BB posts BB $0.50

    Pre Flop: (pot: $0.75) Hero has K Q

    UTG raises to $1.50, fold, Hero calls $1.50, fold, fold

    Flop: ($3.75, 2 players) Q K 4
    UTG bets $2.50, Hero raises to $8.50, UTG raises to $18.00, Hero ???

    I apologize in advance if this is pretty standard.

    Is it OK to just r/f here? I think villain can have a lot of flushes in his range, but I think he can also have a good amount of Acxx as well that he may GII with. I'm not even sure if I GII w/ 44 here, so maybe this is a fold as well?

    Beeing IP i'd just call flop as i would w/ most of my range.
    All posts are just my own opinion about a hand or a general situation... not advices on how you should play...

    Not many hands he can make that raise to $18 with, other than a flush or a set. It looks more like a set of 4's to me, as I can't imagine he would raise with a flush there, as even with his stats he should be holding the nut flush. I think he is trying to protect his set. Going by the math, you should probably fold, unless you feel like one go to get a winning house

    Call flop to initial bet, and now fold I guess.

    Lighting sweet moneys on fire.
    Against this guy I'd r/f KQ and exploitably fold my whole range to a 3bet.

    Raising the flop is a fairly large overplay if your plan is to bet through. You'll be behind the range he calls down with unless you check the turn or river. Basically, 4 bets can't really go in with this hand, you need to put in 3 bets the best way you can. If raising the flop and checking the turn is the best way to do that then fine, but I think most people just prefer to call down.

    You're in pretty rough shape vs his GII range on this type of board:

    equity win tie pots won pots tied
    Hand 0: 72.982% 72.41% 00.57% 14338 112.50 { AcAd, AcAh, AcAs, KK-QQ, 44, AcJc, AcTc, Ac9c, Ac8c, Ac7c, Ac6c, Ac5c, Ac3c, Ac2c, AcJd, AcJh, AcJs }
    Hand 1: 27.018% 26.45% 00.57% 5237 112.50 { KhQh }

    I think that he has set of 4's. It would be better if you only called the initial bet, but now you can only call if you think that it will be dealt another K or Q, or probably go fold, because the chances to lose this hand is big.
    If I was on your place I will probably go fold. However, $10 is to much to call when the chances to win this hand is very small.
