    Default [50NL] 97s... Took myself to value town on river?

    Villain is 23/14/0 over 37 hands.

    PokerStars - $0.50 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 5 players
    Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

    Hero (CO): $50.00
    BTN: $91.59
    SB: $42.32
    BB: $11.50
    UTG: $195.28

    SB posts SB $0.25, BB posts BB $0.50

    Pre Flop: (pot: $0.75) Hero has 9 7

    fold, Hero raises to $1.50, BTN calls $1.50, fold, BB calls $1.00

    Flop: ($4.75, 3 players) T J J
    BB checks, Hero bets $2.75, BTN raises to $7.00, fold, Hero calls $4.25

    Turn: ($18.75, 2 players) A
    Hero checks, BTN checks

    River: ($18.75, 2 players) 4
    Hero bets $12.25, BTN raises to $71.50, Hero ???

    Villain's range looks something like this on river I think

    www.pokerstrategy.com
    Board: JhJcTcAc4d
    Equity Win Tie
    CO 74.07% 74.07% 0.00% { 9c7c }
    BU 25.93% 25.93% 0.00% { AJs, KQs, KdJd, KhJh, AJo, KQo, KhJd, KsJd, KsJh, KcJd, KcJh, KcJs }

    I have given villain half of KJ hands because I don't know whether he raises them here or not. They could be in his range I guess, although if he has KJ some of the time I guess he can have QJ some of the time as well. I don't expect villain to have any flushes here, except KQcc. So question is, if we think villain overvalues his Jx hands, we have to call, if not, we have to fold.

    I should also add I have purposely left out JT because I just don't think he raises w/ near enough the nuts here all that often.

    This is the worst spot for villain to bluff. You have so many strong hands in your range.

    Villain is pretty much only repping AJ imo and a royal as well. Despite his narrow range, gotta fold.

    Yah this probably isn't a bad idea, when we can't really c/c profitably on a brick turn, and we have some bad reverse implied odds given we aren't drawing to the nuts and the board is already paired even.

    a little town called none of your goddamn business
    Yeah flop looks foldish, gross as it feels. Your flush will be pretty worthless when you hit it as he'll be scared of it with worse and often be full or have you overflushed anyway. I think you could have called the raise in position, but OOP just let it go.

    And yeah I'd bet fold the river.
