    Default river sizing..

    playing on bovado, so no stats or offical HHs,
    villian seems weak tight, calls alot, but playing 4 tables so dont have any specific hands in memory at time.
    .02/.05 NL 6max
    UTG = $8.85
    UTG+1 = $7.95 <-hero
    Dealer= $13.34
    SB = $9.98
    BB = $7.03

    UTG calls .05
    hero raises to 0.32 with AhKs
    fold,fold
    BB calls
    UTG calls
    pot = 0.98
    flop= Kd 3h 2c

    check,check
    hero bets 0.49
    BB calls
    UTG folds
    pot = $1.96
    Turn = Kd 3h 2c Qc

    BB tanks... checks
    hero tanks..checks

    river = Kd 3h 2c Qc Qh
    BB tanks...checks
    hero tanks... bets 0.98
    BB calls

    first i dont know if it was a mistake to check back turn, i think villans flat pre is most likely a PP of somekind, maybe suited broadway. his tank on turn confused me as he normally has acted fairly quickly. despite my dilema with my turn play , i think on river he doesnt have much after checking and will probably call a bet with like 99-JJ,Kx and such. but idk how much? could i have got more given i checkback turn?

    I don't like this "click half pot" betting you have going on here. Just seems lazy to me, like you can't be bothered to adjust the bet scroll bar.

    b/f flop b/f turn b/f river, all 60% bets on this runout. That's my line vs this guy.

    Can you type in your bets on bovado? If so do that.

    I'm on Bovada, too.

    You can view HH's 24 hours after the end of the table session, and ALL hole cards are revealed. This is in the Bovada lobby, and there is a GUI, albeit a poor one.

    Write down the hand number or at least the time of the hands you want to review. You can go back the next day and see exactly what Villain had and what line they took.

    Also, you can download the text file from the session, with all hole cards revealed. This option is available from 1 day to 7 days after the end of the table session. I have not found any program that works with the Bovada HH's, though. They are kind of useless without a GUI.

    Any time you see that you have moved away from trying to play your A game, even in a seemingly small manner like this, it's an indication that you should stop ASAP. When you don't, you're effectively telling yourself that it's okay to play when you're not fully focused, which is obviously not a good habit to continue or reinforce.

    I find the betting box thingy kinda tilting/cumbersome on Bodog.
    Most times when I go to type in a bet I end up having to do it twice (sometimes more), needing to mouse-over the existing number and then often the number I type in shows up incorrectly. It's a huge pita.

    In the lobby, under the CASHIER button, there is an ACCOUNT button.

    Click the ACCOUNT button, Which has a Hand History tab kind of near the top left.

    Click the Hand History tab and either search through the past week of hands, or download hands from up to a month prior.

    Cheers!

    The Monkey is full of information, not just science stuff.
    I might give up using google and just use AskMadMojoMonkey.com

    This would be a really useful learning aid.
    Is Bovada the only site that does this?

    I don't know of any other site that does this.

    As far as I know, the only reason Bovada can do this is because players are completely anonymous. When you sit at a table, all you see are seat numbers, no player names or icons... notes do not persist between sessions, either.

    It's a pain in the ass because you can only get about 50 max hands on someone before they leave a table, so reads are always based on tiny, tiny samples. Plenty of decisions that should be easy become difficult choices.

    Very good reasoning, I understand now how they can do it.

    But finally minkey got one wrong, It's not a pain in the ass, it's great,
    it means people have to play properly and not 'cheat' with extra tools that are not available in the real world.

    Please let's not start that old debate again though, I'm old school and not ever going to get any younger.

    Sounds like Bovada ftw to me.

    At the risk of thread creep, I'd be wary of playing any site that did not give the opportunity to examine the play of others over many hands. Bots are reportedly getting better and better. Bodog/Bovada apparently does not have a good track record with bots.
