oh i forgot. blog title is reference to the fact i'm going small stakes robusto playing many hours for many dorrarr. and the street cleaning refers to how mah tables are full of riff raff, hooligans and monkeys and they must be removed off mah streets. wifout their manies ofc. oh team canada is doing a w/e hours this month seems like a cool idea. dunno how many hours i want/need to play. just gonna set the bar at a lot

obligatory start of the month giraffe and w/e. not letting people see mah stats. and yes that redline is at fr and i don't share the red line obsession that 2p2 has it just lets me know im not playing like complete shit. if i had the 2p2 rb pro of a blue line this i'd be concerned a lot. cause it means i'm fpp proing wif rb and that is an ldo poor result.

fatigue caught up today which was disappointing because the games were extremely good. lots and lots of fish and they all played very badly. also i was running abso sick hot. unfortunately i didnt have the motivation or energy to play more than 1k hands and frankly the pizza i ate for the superbowl did nothing to help this. however this month i have already played 33+ hours and we're only 6 days in and i'm pretty excited about that. tomorrow i continue to grind till i collapse or my eyes bleed but today i kinda did nothing at all and i'm kinda beating myself up for that. being unproductive or spending time watching something that does not captivate me bothers me a lot. playing video games i enjoy or watching tv shows i really like is fine but like when people do the 'theres nothing to do i'll just channel surf' yeah i can't do that.

one thing i want to talk about is where i want to move when i'm finally able to. i'm probably closer to that than i have been in awhile and i'm not sure tbh. there was orignally a plan but as time has elapsed ge00fish has returned to work and is busy wif tilting wiff and lil baby. lemonz has his new child and drew has his gf. which is all well and fine and i'm perfectly happy for them but i'm not sure i want to live there anymore. i kinda want to be around other people who play professionally as well and who like to do stuff my age oriented and what not. i've been browsing 2p2 lately for poker house interests but i have no idea where i would actually want to move other than somewhere warm. just something that's been in the back of my mind.

i guess i'll post a lul hand of the day. like i said manies falling from the sky.

dear rakebackpros. update your rakerace stuffs so i can figure out how much i need to kill myself grinding over the next few weeks. hopefully a lot but not enough to kill me. i mean c'mon its feb 10th. update yo shit and pay me mah $2.00 from last monthz. more importantly update the race and less about the $2 USD.

today played 2k hands won a fair few bi. played like shit towards the end and quit. and thats all i have to say about that. i was on the side of a lot of fortunate coolers, set > sets twice and straight > set aiOTF. everyone runs like god once inawhile and it's a lot of fun but ezmode is not to be expected and hopefully i play better tomorrow. mebbe run the same but def play better.

so much <3 for kiwi maaaaak maaaaaakerson

played 4k hands today and played a lot better than yesterday. ran like god throughout the day and it's a lot of fun to run hot. obviously. however feet on the ground, while head in the clouds. gotta keep working hard to get back and remember that it rarely will be easy. rakebackpros still has not updated their rakerace which is annoying. tomorrow begins the weekend and with the weekend brings awesomeness of being able to play for long amounts of time during wickedly soft games. i'm pretty excited and want to put in a lot of volume, unfortunately saturday i have to go to my cousins bridal shower...i know right??? wtf????? guys shouldn't be allowed let alone required to attend but w.e. gotta do what you gotta do.

i'm in that weird area of being too tired to play effective poker but not tired enough to go to sleep, so i thought i'd blog about some stuff.

first things first when playing internet pokers you should be as comfortable as possible. this includes your poker client. for example i have several mods for my FTP that make looking at things easier on my eyes, as well as looking awesome. i'm a pretty big fan overall. i have custom chips as well and i should probably post those as well. hold on while i dig pics of those up. got em. like i said very cool looking imo. mebbe you don't think so and thats fine but i think they're awesome and if they help at any point whatsoever then it was a good choice installing them.

another thing i want to talk about is table setup. make sure you can see everything clearly without straining your eyes to death otherwise eventually you are going to be in a buttload of pain with the eyes and frankly thats one of the worst spots to have pain because you need your eyes ldo. i personally tile 4 tables and stack them under those 4. so when i 14 table there is only 4 spots to look and i dont have to strain my eyes reading tiny stuffs or darting my eyes back and forth all over the monitor. some people can't stack and frankly i have no advice for you. if i have a hand that requires attention i move them out of the stacks and put them back in when the hand is done. pretty much any hand that goes past the flop is pulled out of the stack until the hand is finished or any hand that is 3b pre or i have raised the flop or w/e.

another important thing to internet pokers is you have to move your mouse, a lot. and if your mouse moves a lot it translates into lots of wrist pain. so i suggest two things. learn to stack effectively (see above tips) and increase your mouse sensitivity really high. this takes quite a bit to get used to if you are A)old or B) used to a low sensitivity setting. but let me tell you the lack of carpal tunnel a few years down the road will thank you. small changes now that take a little bit of time to correct now leads to big dividends in the future. just do it.

another thing i have noticed is PTR has 1/25th of my hands tracked this month and has me a loser. i am ecstatic. hopefully all the regs will think i'm some giant fish and donate more stacks to me. this in no way whatsoever can be bad and it makes me smile. i'll save the ptr dickwaving for everyone else. that all being said i have around 52 hours of poker played this month so far and it is exhausting. however $$$ does a ton to offset the exhaustion and i gotta stay with mah mind on the grind, to quote king niche. i rewatched the success MSU guy youtube videos today and they do wonders.

explosions in the sky is a great instrumental band. made of like 5 guitars, i think. if you like relaxing music give "your hand in mine" and "a slow dance" a listen. it's very soothing and wonderful to grind to internet pokers with. or to fall asleep to. either way nice state of calm.

I'm glad this blog is no longer to long to read, but it turns out you're not playing PLO so I don't care.

I never have eye pain but have to constantly make sure I'm not doing something weird with my neck or hunching forward or I get cricks/soreness. Someday I will try stacking. Can you do it just as well playing two sites?

nothing that really concerns me all too much trips < trips, peoplez hiting sets in 3b pots. things of that nature i dont want to post beats because not a lot of them are funny and this blog only has hilarious beats.

today was mostly spent irl visiting family and being forced to attend a bridal shower. pure preposterousness. we went to an irish pub afterwords and i had the worst hamburger of my life, it was well done when i said medium rare as well as being covered in this god awful mustard. not very happy with that but thats okay.

played 2.5kish hands of poker and won 2.5ish bi. pretty happy about that considering it was just redic difficult spot after difficult spot, pretty awesome result given circumstance, i coulda played more but irl absolutely exhausts me and i still have fatigue from getting killed yesterday. hopefully tomorrow i have the energy to play a lot and collect lots of $$$

I took your advice and stacked my tables as you suggest + turned up the sensitivity on my mouse. It's working out great!

and yes your friday was worse than mine

@doc my multi siting ability has always sucked and the most i can do while multi siting is around 13-14 tables with maybe 6 stacks tiled with 3 stacks by stars and 3 stacks being tilt

    @lemons die.

played like 3.2k hands today. another day of redic spots everywhere. but i made the $$$ so w/e, if i'm stuck making difficult decisions everyday but making monies i'll take the headache i guess. umm fatigue is starting to kick so i may take it easy tomorrow dependent on how i feel tomorrow. on the other hand i'm around 5.5ptbbs this month for like iunno 55kish hands so it's kinda hard to stay away from grinding. to quote a frand of my ' in norway we call dis a luxury problem! ' i know right? it's pretty nice at the moment having problems like this. hopefully i keep them.

-4 today, mebbe 2.5k hands. pretty happy about it, played mediocrely and was down a lot more at one point. one thing i wanted to say is the more i play recently the more i realize that i have lots of leaks and lots to learn still. like i cannot comprehend how much i have to learn and that's really exciting to me and i think it's pretty cool that ive probably better than w/e% of poker players but still theres so much to learn about this game that it's redic. pretty strong motivating factor.

some day i will try to fix my sleep schedule but it is not this day. i've been really lazy the past 3 days with maybe 8k hands total. yeah i need to fix that but somehow can't find motivation recently. probably will just suffer through the weekend if it's not back by then though

the month isn't over and most likely i will end up playing more before it ends however i'm just gonna write now. i have over 130 hours played this month and probably like 122+ of that was spent 14-16 tabling, needless to say i'm pretty exhausted. the results are good and that's awesome but i'm pretty beat. i guess all i can say is pimpin' ain't easy and if you want something you have to really work hard on it. it's unfortunate that in poker unlike most fields if you feel like shit, you perform like shit and it ends up costing you monies instead of making you monies. that all being said you can't be a bitch all the time you have to develop some discipline and not be lazy. i think i did that pretty well this month. i learned a lot this month though and i def received a lot of help this month from far better players than i. gotta keep on truckin along all the way to robusto.

also fuck taxes. fuck taxes right up their god dam ass.

decided not to play anymore this month online anyway.

    +1187 rb
    +500 bonus
    -328 donkaments

not counting ironman w/e cause far to difficult to calc atm. it's been about 60ish days since i've seen anyone my age who is a friend. this due to the fact i had 3 people very close to me die in the last 2 months and just straight grinding all the damn time. so tonight i'm gonna go out and either try to find someone to hang out with or just go play live cause live is lollerfun for me.

there is a lot of massive downswings in short periods in there but there are more massive upswings than there are downswings so i'm def not complaining about running like shit for some parts of the month when there were plenty of days i ran like the sun. either way bring on march. i look forward to it.

also lots of that is going to taxes. fuck taxes.

    Well done bikes!

Just a question: how do you handle 14-16 multi-table with stacked tables and take notes?

Congrats bikes, after seeing you run worse than anyone I've ever seen for months -- it's f'n awesome to see you crushing again. You still have like a good 6 months of rungood stored up so I expect to see sexy graphs for many months to come.

today was a giant obv fest. thankfully tomorrow is friday and the perfect time of the week to reverse such an obv fest. still considering going away for the weekend to visit some frands at college but anyone who knows me knows how redic difficult it is to get me irl so most likely ima stay home and grind internet pokers. i'm slowly learning how to quit when having an atrocious session, and i do mean slowly but slowly better than nothing imo. if u don't understand this blog its probably because im annoyed that i ran like blaaah and so my thoughts are jumbled. but thats okay.

also for weekend getaway i was bribed to try and get me to come. hah girl in question tried bribing with the wrong thing. fails imo. anyway umm this cupcake im eating is f delicious. this local bakery makes abso wonderful sweets and this cupcake is simply phenomenal. ughhhhhhh ummmm SUNDAY IS MAH BIRFDAY, and on the day of mah birfday i will probably be playing internet pokers because frankly who cares about 22nd birfday, i am agreeance wif aejones that it's the 2nd most useless birfday.

i hopes everyone else ran better than i did today peaceeeeeeeeeeee

ps @ downunder umm i know FTP is in general faster than stars normal tables but there are no fast tables on FTP i think i prolly get like 1.1-1.2k hands an hour though.

I've mebbe played 20k hands this month and hopefully I wake up and put in hours. Been really fatigued lately, and spent a lot of time irl which probably contributes to fatigue because let's face it IRL is exhausting. Umm I have nothing really cool to say atm about grinding so I guess I'll just picturize some hands that are standard but I went on a heater my first session and I'm on positive tilt atm and will probably be on said tilt for another 30-60 mins which means I have time to screw around for a few mins as well as do some more stuff towards my fitness prop wif mcatter.

    enjoy

    UTG+1 ($50)
    MP1 ($67.20)
    MP2 ($50)

    CO ($50.85)
    Hero (Button) ($54.25)
    SB ($50.60)
    BB ($55)
    UTG ($36)

Preflop: Hero is Button with A, K

6 folds, Hero bets $1.50, SB raises to $4, 1 fold,

    Hero raises to $9,

    SB raises to $15.50,

    Hero raises to $54.25 (All-In), SB calls $35.10 (All-In)

    Flop: ($101.70) 7, A, 2 (2 players, 2 all-in)

    Turn: ($101.70) 2 (2 players, 2 all-in)

am running like abso aids lately but thats okay! it happens, i'm probably not playing great, playing good/okay and that is not okay. however just gotta play the best i can and hope things work out. it is day 2 into the fitness prop and i am indeed on pace and feel like dying. tonight is mardi gras so probably going to go out with some friends tonight to make bad choices and poor decisions. i'll phototize another hand or two while i'm waiting a bit to watch a sweat.

well i've done 10k hands and i'm getting killed so 25k hands died really quick. running like aids is not fun but irl and frands are calling so irl i must go. also drunk bb should never set goals for sober bb. seems just like a wicked horrid poor choice. though if i wasn't running like aids and running normal/awesome/good/w.e drunk bb would be looking extremely smart atm. alas.

    PEACE.

hello 2 all, been awhile since i updated the blawg and i'm waiting for my new phone to be delivered. HTC thunderbolt holla. poker this month started awfully i was running bad and not playing great which is usually a solid recipe for losing. however this month i'm making strides in learning how to quit sessions as opposed to playing for 5 hours getting even playing wickedly aggro and a high variance style. which usually results in me getting even or dropping 10+ bi for the day. fortunately no such days this month have occurred where i did this.

unfortunately i only have 73ish hours for 73kish hands. so i guess if i end the month with 100k hands its hooray but i think my volume is pretty unacceptable. in FR winrates are in general much smaller than that of the 6m or HU mostly because of the format of the game. people's ranges are stronger, makes it harder to make moves against near nutted hands constantly blah blah blah. just know its more difficult to win at an awesome winrate at fr than 6m or hu. fr players compensate for this by playing an abso crapload of hands. 200-300k hands a month at a 1-2ptbb winrate is a decent chunk of change at SSNL+ so thats how they compensate. in general rb favors FR as well though thats becoming less and less as more sites switch to contributed rake instead of dealt. anyway my point is if i want to keep playing FR full time, which i kinda do and definately should, i need to put in more hours and hands. though in fairness to me i spent a lot of time irl this month comparably as to say the last 5 months of the year. anyway gotta play more. but not atm cause waiting for phone and won't be able to hear doorbell if i'm playing and the phone requires a signature.

hmm what else can i blather on about. i guess if you want to get any kind of serious at poker now is the time to work really hard and play lots. the games will only get tougher until legislation, which i believe will eventually happen but no idea on when, and every day you delay just makes the games slightly harder. and with that i bid u all adieu

I hate posting results. But I'm going to talk about results and confidence. So it's pretty relevant to the following words.

As you can see above I have 0 right to complain whatsoever about anything. I'm playing pretty awesome and running pretty good as well. EV doesn't tell the whole story and I've been coolered in some spots but obviously I'm either running good, playing well or likely some combination of them both. I've adjusted to FR very well I think and despite my initial doubts FR has its moments for fun. However all the winning sessions I've strung this month after today I feel pretty bummed and just doubtful of a lot of things.. And I have no reason to be, well I lost a few 3b pots with top set deep or aces which is bumming but it obviously happens and as you can clearly see I've def held with my fair share of sets against draws and what have you's for the past few days. Nonetheless I feel really bummed about everything in general and that could be for several reasons. A whole lotta doubt about myself right now. you would think i've played enough to get past this crap but apparently not.

The reason why a fair few professional players fear losing streaks is the huge period of self doubt. It usually manifests something along these lines dependent on how bad things are going.

    1) Okay well if I lost money this session maybe I'm not even a winning poker player.
    2) Okay well if I'm not a winning poker player then I'm gonna run outta money fairly soon
    3) If I run out of money soon that means I'm going to have to get that 3 letter word.

Well no one is immune to the doubt and I've said this to myself probably a fair bit more than others. Though some people I know ask this to themselves fairly often.

I'm going off-tangent here and I've completely forgotten what I was originally going to say. So I'll just close with this

"you are no where nearly as good as you think you are however this shouldn't stop you from trying to get better as much as feasibly possible." i say feasibly because tbh not everyone is going to be able or have the time to learn how to crush all the stakes up to 25/50 but given some effort and time you can prolly become a good/decent player mebbe even great who knows.

    /emo rant off.

I don't feel like editting the above post so i'll say this. the true measure of a poker player is how he plays when losing as opposed to when he wins. i've done pretty well getting up after falling down and i'm pretty sure ill feel fine tomorrow.

sick bastards! you going to try and get in 250k hands on FTP in a month? That's mad volume. Most i've hit is like 170k or something, and that felt like many. I wouldn't bet against you though.

also - it's not worth much on the $$ front, but FTP academy = why not just tick off the challenges as you play for free money. They have a widget for the lobby so you just click on it to repeat whenever you notice you've got one done. Below is a list of the challenges in approximate order of easiest to complete without making any changes to your normal game. 250k hands you'll probably get around a few hundred worth in value

    speculative hands
    sizing up opponents
    online tells
    5 common holdem leaks
    math made easy
    power of position

thinking about taking the rest of the month off. this usually ends with me getting bored and playing cause might as well do something productive. i have a crapload to play next month and a little rest now would be nice so i don't fatigue 8 days in. hmm.

this greatly depends on how i keep myself occupied. hopefully i find an awesome video game i can no life for 3 days or something

Bikes your volume is seriously sick. Even if I had the amount of time I don't know that I could grind that much, although I'm a wuss and suck at multi-tabling. If you're looking for a game, favorite PS1 classic is Chrono Cross if you haven't played it (although I'm sure you have).

Take a break, let your brain chill, you'll be running even hotter start of April for sure.

Dude, play Little Big Planet if you haven't. It's actually really cool, fun and will help you relax becaue of the speed and fun of the game. Hit some weights and get your sweat on too, it'll really be a huge benefit to your month ahead.

This. LBP is an awesome multi-player game. I just ordered the sequel and will be no lifing that soon.
That's how winners play; we convince the other guy he's making all the right moves.

calling it a month i guess. this particular month i was lazy and hungover a lot more than i would have liked to be and as you can see that cuts into the profit lines. next month that will be corrected wif zey prop.

    ship the monies

Did you make any changes when the monies started coming in? Your redline starts going down after being BE for 50K. I've noticed this happening in my graphs too and I assume it's just because the two lines are generally inversely correlated but I'm just curious if you just decided to play more in line or something.

Nice garf nonetheless! In b4 Chicago?
