What did he put him on that he thought he needed to 2x pot the river to get him to fold then? That doesn;t make sense to me....

I dunno, but his reaction to Tran folding Ax seemed genuine. Unless you think he was super levelling on his reaction, which I doubt.

I don't know... I don't think its suicidal.
He knows tran has an ace, he overbets the pot knowing that from tran's perspective he's at best calling 100k to win 25k (chop of 50k) or losing 100k.
Seems pretty standard to me lol
(edit: its not suicidal with reads that villain is competent and capable of a fold)
