he's betting like he has 2 pr, and I hope it's at least 9-10 s00ted. i don't think he has trips, or the reraise might not come until the turn. maybe he's scared of flush draws, though on a flop board like that. when you get raised on the turn, you should consider pushing or folding. $40 is a strong bet there, and if you call, you put yourself in the awkward position of either pushing from early position where only a better hand calls. or checking to him and agonizing over whether or not to call. This is one of those scenarios where recognizing that you're all in on the river or you're not decide the turn play for you.

Alias, HERO CR'ed to $40..

PokerPatNEU's AdTx is a really good guess. If this was FH I would also think of JJ but I dont see JJ limping 6max, could be wrong though. If he had KK or AA he played those very passively, but not bad IMO.

My guess is AA/KK.. Hoping he has AdTx.. And this is a very tough hand gotta admit!

Kingfish__ shows [ Qc, Qh ] a pair of queens.
enfuego100 shows [ Jd, Th ] a pair of tens.
Kingfish__ wins $201.70 from the main pot with a pair of queens.

The fact he bet 15$ into a 40$ pot told me he had a drawing hand of some sort as he wasnt afraid of the river. He wasnt trying to chase me out with this bet. I doubt he had AA or KK with a diamond as he would have raised pre-flop first. A set or two pair couldnt have any diamonds and would have been trying to chase me out much more on the turn. A made flush would probably be small and would try to chase me out on the turn for fear of a 4th diamond coming and counterfeiting them. It was possible he had a made ace-high flush, but it wasnt likely.

What I thought he had was a pair and a flush draw, probably top pair and a flush draw. I was ahead of this hand on the turn 61.5-38.5 so thats why I raised so much. On the river when I knew I was good I pushed and he still called. Even though his hand didnt improve he still felt obligated to call at this point. If a diamond shows on the river I fold to any bet he makes, whereas he doesnt fold if he misses, so I have an implied odds edge too (making the turn bet even more valueble).
