Villain is 44/17 over a small sample but seems a little donkish. Shown he is willing to gamble by previously calling a nits pre-flop all in with 44.

Given description I'm almost always calling here. But the exact circumstances of the 44 hand are important.

Yeah in the moment I probably snap call if not shove over on turn. The more I look at this though it's either bb bluffing off his stack or your crushed. Given your reads and his stats I think it is very possible that he's trying to bluff off his stack. It could be 88 or 99 or 55 as well.
