Villain is a nit running at 26/16/3.4(3b)
he basically doesn't 3b without the nuts

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (5 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

Button ($21.15)
SB ($115.10)
BB ($100)
Hero (UTG) ($210.25)
MP ($74.80)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with 5, 5
Hero bets $4, 2 folds, SB calls $3.50, 1 fold

Flop: ($9) K, Q, 9 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $4, SB calls $4

Turn: ($17) 3 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $12, SB calls $12

River: ($41) 2 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $33

I could have AK, AA, set, backdoor flush (I would barrel the picked up draw)

26/16 is a nit? he's got quite the gap between his vpip/pfr...

WSTD would be usefull to know if we plan on firing 3 barrels but on this board it just looks like spew. Also wth @ cbet size you're not getting credit for that ever and probably increases the liklihood of getting looked up on further streets. Also, he looks like he's calling a ton of broadway combos pre like KQ/KJ/QJ/JT etc. so I don't think cbetting this board is really that great of an idea.

I thought that if he had JJ- he'd fold anyway although it should have been like $5 but with rake my cbet looked close to 1/2 pot

also I think that a lot of my range hits that flop since I'm UTG and I didn't know what he could be calling here with other than PPs or like SCs

I was really only afraid of him calling three streets with KQ exactly
or the occasional call/call/shove with 99
I don't think he would call all three with Qx or KJ/KT since I don't have worse kings in my UTG range and he doesn't have the balls to make a hero call on a semi-scary river (since he's a nit)

no, they dont necessarily hand read well, but an extra $2 gives your turn and river play a bit more merit

While true and I understand your logic that he would fold to $4 or $10 etc
It keeps his flop range so much wider when we bet that small and our hand has like no equity against pretty much any hand he calls with here.

i agree that he's peeling a wide range (910, q10, qj, 89 etc..) on that flop after you bet so small so a turn double barrel is fine (though i wouldn't have made that ackward c-bet, just 3/4 pot it). The river seems like a c/fold to me.
Family Cruise IMO
