arvid2k7 is pretty damn tight. think he runs like 17/13, barely 3-bets. i4betbluff seems to relatively loose pf, but on the tighter side post flop. i have a note on him: played bottom set 2456J board extremely passive, 3-bet pot. i think he c/c flop and i checked back turn, and he checked river again, i checked back.

so given that and despite the fact that there are only like 4 combos of nut hands here is this a relatively easy fold?

i fold. if hes at all decent he knows hes repping so thin, and against a turn c/r TPTK is rarely good.

LOL, that's funny, my reads on arvid and i4betbluff are basically the polar opposite of yours.

I was thinking the same thing before I posted, but then I started thinking ... if it appears so suicidal to do this against any thinking player that we're folding TPTK .... I mean c'mon, it's gotta be like a super good spot to bluff in that instance.

If we fold TPTK, are we folding AA ?

I agree that its kind of a suicidal bluff.. to assume we'd fold an overpair, tptk here...

but given that i don't think a tight player is overcalling 2x on the flop, we're practically only folding to 444 or quad 2's here. Even those hands i think some people would c/c again, given how strong they are....

I'm kind of torn.. though I suppose I'm just bad at folding...

When you're in villains spot to you expect anyone to fold AJ here?

The only problem is posting it cause then maybe someone will find out.

yup this is what makes it a fold... villian knows hes repping nothing and is just assuming hes stacking KJ+ probably

He is repping so thin and doesnt always take this line with sets and quads i think i feel better about getting it in. It's a terrible spot to bluff but this is repping about as thin as it gets.
Check out the new blog!!!

As the board is kind of dry, what about checking turn so that tight player could call river with QJ/JT/KJ that might fold to a 2barril vs 2 villain on turn?
