Villain is a regular I guess running 20/17/2.5 over smallish sample.
I have no reads on him.

Flop I raise a fish's donk lead which I do often and with a wide range. I expect villain to know this so I checked the turn to try and induce a bet on the river. I also didn't think I could get 3 streets from KJ, KQ with no history so I elected to get my second bet on the river.

Now after I type that out I think I should have bet the turn but whatever lash out anyway.

River as played?

No-Limit Hold'em, $4.00 BB (6 handed) - Hold'em Manager Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

Button ($447)
SB ($400)
BB ($576.55)
UTG ($1022.90)
Hero (MP) ($441.60)
CO ($447.40)

Preflop: Hero is MP with K, A
1 fold, Hero raises $12, 2 folds, SB calls $10, BB calls $8

Flop: ($36) K, 9, 2 (3 players)
SB checks, BB bets $16, Hero raises $52, SB calls $52, 1 fold

Turn: ($156) 3 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero checks

River: ($156) A (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $104, SB raises $336 (All-In), Hero?

wow what a retarded spot. I can't imagine what he cold calls flop with that check raises river that you beat. Its a spot where no one except extremely sick players would take as a bluff so I probably fold.
Flopping quads and boats like its my job

I'd say this is always 22/99 and fold.

Despite him knowing you raise donk leads wide he really can't call wide cause of the donk in the pot. That being said it really looks like a set trying to trap more money in the pot from the donk so I would fold.

Pretty easy fold I'd say and I like the turn check. I'm sure others will disagree though.

i think its played fine if you folded. He's probably going to think he has a viable bluffcatcher if he has KQish and wont turn his hand into a bluff unless he's a sicko. He will frequently have 22/99 with a sprinkle of Kx clubs.
My bankroll is the amount of money I would spend or lose before I got a job. It is calculated by adding my net worth to whatever I can borrow.

Ok so I'm the only sicko that can be bluffing there lol.

Can I get a consensus on a turn bet? If I'm only getting 2 streets of value from worse (which is my opinion) Would it be better to bet turn? Then the problem becomes blank rivers...
