this reminded me of sauce's thin value thread.
the flop was a pretty rare move for me, but I 3bet for value and info. villain called quick, and I was confident that meant TPGK or a str8 draw, but possibly JT or something.
villain is a big time donk (and i mean reeeeal loose/bad), 70/25 stats, likes to chase a lot, and prob sees me as mostly tag except i've bluff raised him and isolate him a lot so prob seen as more aggro than a typical tag.
earlier he slowplayed a flopped boat after pf raising 44 from the sb into a limper, so i discounted KJ/88.
i think i have a leak of getting a read that i should play a normally marginal sort of hand like this for stacks but then i get too cautious about following through. pretty sure im missing a lot of value (variance too..)
given my reads, bet the turn and push the river?

J is a great card for evaluating strength of your hand (i.e. your hand is stronger with J on board) but it makes it harder to get paid off by KQ or Kx.

when the vpip's are high and the value bets are like razors, who can be safe?

but he's soooo loose, and especially since he's seen me bluff, i don't think standard pot-control applies. like he cold called 1/5 of his stack oop facing a bet and raise only to chase a gut shot earlier.
(edit- another hand to give an idea of him - he check-called 3 streets with 3rd pair for 50bb even when the river made a flush possible and i bet 1/2 pot)
so i think top pair is worth a lot to him, and i missed a lot of value, but maybe being result oriented.

The J is a great turn card because it's unlikely the donk is value min-raising with 2nd pair unless he has a monster (J8,K8 or KJ)
The J on the turn means there are fewer combinations of KJ and J8 that can beat us and now we are crushing K8.
