No solid reads, he recently sat. He appears to be playing pretty unremarkably however as I've noticed nothing out of the ordinary from him thus far.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

saw flop|saw showdown

CO ($148.47)
Hero ($571.86)
SB ($117.80)
BB ($115.91)
UTG ($173.94)

Preflop: Hero is Button with J, 9. SB posts a blind of $1.
UTG raises to $6.7, 2 folds, Hero calls $6.70, SB (poster) calls $5.70, BB calls $4.70.

Flop: ($26.80) 6, J, 8 (4 players)
SB checks, BB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets $18, SB folds, BB folds, UTG calls $18.

Turn: ($62.80) 9 (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $44, UTG raises to $97.72, Hero ???

Probably push. I really think he has a set though because of the raise pf/check flop then go nuts combination.

Has he raised pre-flop from any other position yet?

This almost looks like QT. JJ is only delt 1 way. Maybe TT, but I would expect a push, he seems to be getting you into a big pot.

That turn probably created a very nice second best hand for you A bit of a read should decide push/fold. Unknown at PP: push.

I would think QT would C-Bet this on the flop to take it down. I'm thinking Set or really donkey played overpair.

The pot went multi-way on the flop. If he checks he gets a free shot at a monster if the button checks behind....

Then again maybe I've giving him too much credit for post-flop skill...

Possibly, but how often does an unknown button check behind when checked to in this spot? Maybe its just me who is a sucker for a chance at the steal.
