villian seems like a reg, running 20/14/2 with a 3bet% of 4. wtf.

Hero ($198)
BB ($218.90)
UTG ($246.90)
MP ($182)
CO ($200)
Button ($252.35)

Preflop: Hero is SB with K, Q.
4 folds, Hero raises to $8, BB calls $6.

Flop: ($17) 7, K, Q (2 players)
Hero bets $12, BB calls $12.

Turn: ($41) A (2 players)
Hero bets $32, BB raises to $80, Hero....
here is my inspiration, ISF upset that he lost a dollar: http://www.flopturnriver.com/phpBB2/...806.html#28211

Well, either the A helped you or him. I think he might be testing you out with a weak A. I'd call and c/f or c/c the riv depending on his bet size.
My sig is too much for you to handle.

I just had a gag-gasm. His range kinda punches you in the nuts - JT, AQ?, A7 (no wai tho amirite?), 77, KQ... I dunno. This is a really weird and dangerous spot for him to bluff-raise. If he had the monster draw he'd usually raise the flop, I would think. His aggression is low enough that you might call it and try to get a cheap showdown, but I probably just let it go. (That might just be because I've seen this line turn out to be a better two pair that got there on the turn a few too many times... it's made me cowardly about weakly hanging around to showdown with this type of hand.)

you only beat a bluff and his most likely hand is the nuts. fold.

so i talked to massimo about it and he kind of thought that it was a tight fold, but when playing I thought it was a muk. His range is litterally the nuts, AK, AQ, A7, air. But AK, AQ, both I would think would be in his 3betting range, who knows. Him being not agg, i guess its a fold....

I omitted AK entirely for that reason - seems like an unlikely smooth call. AQ maybe though. I agree that it seems like he's doing this with hands that kill you or air, and I feel like it's weighted heavily towards the former. I like your fold.

How much history do you have on villain. Unless I'd seen him make an audacious move before I'd be sure it that the fold is correct (however I may call, as I'm fish).
