Um, no reads on villain. I was really lost with this....i really want to call here , but i dont think 10NL players are capable of bluff raising so well. Or does my bet appear soo weak, he thinks he can push me off?
3 High flush?
I probably could have bet a bit more on turn, maybe 1.70ish.

Why are you playing 54s in the first place if you don't get value when you make a flush/straight? Call and be ecstatic about it. His range has a lot of other stuff in it that you don't need to worry about.

I call, I think QT and J9 can def. be in his range. And also if he is a thinking 10nl player he'll say "wtf no way he bets a flush draw so I'm good with my X hand" with x = less than a flush. You could also throw in dumbly played sets.

We have position, he probably sucks at fighting for jump balls and he'll call-down when we catch good. This is a silly reason to pay off a better hand.

It really comes down to what you think his shove range looks like. I guess 6-max I like a call a little more. Against your typical loose/passive you're pretty fucked.

54s is a very nice hand on the button. You aren't playing it to hit a flush, you are playing it because you want the blinds, and in case you don't get them you might hit a nice draw that you can play fast.

while fnord and P4s are right about the purpose of playing 54s here, the turn is an instacall and i would expect to see a straight a lot among other stuff.
My bankroll is the amount of money I would spend or lose before I got a job. It is calculated by adding my net worth to whatever I can borrow.

At low stakes where everyone usually shuts down if a flush card comes...ruhroh. Most players at these stakes will play much of their range that you beat very passively here. If you don't have any reads, you're often behind here. That said, could I fold? No. You've got to take in that 'random idiocy' factor at 10NL unless if you have reason to believe otherwise. That means I'm calling.

I wouldn't be suprised to see top two or T8 that didn't know what to do after the flush card hit here.
