Villian is 40/12. Is this weak/tight? I'm just starting 6max and I'm still a little unclear on where to loosen up.

Either shove or fold to his minraise depending on whether you think he has JJ or KK/AA. Calling the minraise and then check/folding turn is really bad.

Ehh, seems ok. Leading the flop is ok I suppose, but that may induce a bluff raise from an aggro villain. I would check call and lead a safe turn and fold to a raise.
