Button ($99.50) [phantom_lord]

phantom_lord is Button with 7, 5
Preflop: (5 players, $1.5)
2 folds, phantom_lord calls $1 and raises $3, SB folds, BB calls $3

Flop: Q, 6, 9 (2 players, $8.5)
BB checks, phantom_lord bets $6, BB calls $6

Turn: 4 (2 players, $20.5)
BB checks, phantom_lord checks

River: 8 (2 players, $20.5)
BB bets $16, phantom_lord calls $16 and raises $35, BB calls $35

Results: phantom_lord has 7, 5
phantom_lord wins $119.5 with Straight 98765


I thought this was pretty standard, he's a bit of a nit 19/8/x off the top of my head, know him off another forum, but basically he berated me for this and called me a big fish lol, he doesn't know that I know him.

I button steal, c-bet, and happen to river a stright.

Should I bet the turn?

uhhh no this is fine, i like this line better. However i do raise more on the river, consider raising to 45

I think this hand was played well. Sometimes I bet the turn, only because the 4 now makes us open, but since we don't wanna get check raised off this hand, I don't mind the check through.

lol at villain for calling you a fish, when you were the aggressor in the hand. What did villain have that made him so pissed?
